WELCOME BACK TO TERM 2!

We had a super start to the term.  The children drew fantastic pastel pictures of their favourite day in the holidays, then wrote stories.

Apirana Taylor

Apirana Taylor came to our school today.  He is an amazing storyteller!  He told us stories  by reading to us from a book he had written.  He makes his stories interesting to listen to because he uses music.  He uses flutes made from bone and wood.  When he is calling people to listen he blows into a shell.
He has been telling stories to children for over 30 years.
